Okay, this is a big one, and it will probably span a couple of pages, but let's get right to it. If you don't have any traffic, you won't make any money. Simple as that. You're going to learn a couple of the things I do to get traffic, as well as learn some of what other people do. Some will cost money and some are free, but if you do a combination of both, you're almost sure to make sales.

So how to get traffic? Well, it starts in one place. Getting listed in search engines. Now, many people think strictly Google, and that is a big player, but don't neglect the other big ones. Yahoo!, MSN, and Ask Jeeves.

Typically, if you rank well in Google, you'll rank well in the others, but it is not always the other way around. I have a high listing for my Canker Sore website in MSN, but a not so high listing in Google. I still manage to make a decent amount off it though. So remember that just because Google may not list you high, the other big engines can and will.
